Permanent Makeup is a method of implanting pigment into the skin (dermal layer). It is often also referred to as intradermal pigmentation, micro pigmentation, or permanent cosmetics.
IS PERMANENT MAKEUP PAINFUL?
Most feel little to no pain. Topical anesthetics are available and are very effective.
DOES PERMANENT MAKEUP FADE?
With factors such as ultraviolet sun exposure, excessively oily or dry skin, and use of products like Retin-A, overtime these can cause fading. Normally, a gradual fading is to be expected. Periodic maintenance is sometimes required.
IS PERMANENT MAKEUP SAFE?
Absolutely! Sanitation and sterilization guidelines are implemented. Comfort and safety are the most important factors for clients. Strict state issued regulations are enforced and utilized.
WHAT ABOUT HEALING?
Immediately after procedure, color will appear darker, and some may experience swelling and redness. Proper aftercare is discussed to aid in healing time (approx. 14 days). Proper healing time will yield a more natural appearance. Final retouches may be needed. Every person is unique and will heal differently.
